Longtime Bay Area artist David Newman talks about his iPad portraits of Silicon Valley innovators and shares his creative process.

Former courtroom artist David Newman put his figurative arts training to use sketching prominent trials in San Francisco in the 1970s. 

Now an artist-in-residence in Silicon Valley, David has crafted more than 160 iPad portraits of Silicon Valley innovators.  Join David as he highlights his work, showcases his preferred workflow with SketchBook Pro and ArtRage, and demonstrates the beginning of an iPad portrait.
