Artist David Newman's iPad Portraits Chosen for Autodesk University 10x10 International Gallery Exhibition in Las Vegas

San Francisco, CA October 6, 2010 -- Silicon Valley artist-in-residence David Newman has been selected as one of 10 international mobile digital artists whose works will be featured in the Autodesk 10x10 Gallery Exhibition in Las Vegas November 30 through December 2, 2010.

The exhibition will be part of Autodesk University 2010 Conference and Exhibition held at the Mandalay Bay conference center this November.

The show, curated by Wisconsin-based artist Susan Murtaugh for Autodesk, will include 10 portraits of high-tech innovators in Silicon Valley, New York City and Paris, France that Newman has painted from life using Autodesk's SketchBook Pro for the iPad.

Newman will be joined by 9 other digital artists.
